Vocalist and bassist Jan Otto "Janto" Garmannslund and second guitarist Wilhelm Nagel joined them later. Hades recorded their first demo, Alone Walkyng, in June 1993 at Grieghallen, produced by Pytten. In 1993, Tunsberg and Varg Vikernes of Burzum were convicted and sentenced to prison for burning a church in Åsane.
